Welcome to Kiwanis!Kiwanis club of Skidaway is dedicated to helping the disadvantaged and at risk children of our community. We are women and men willing to share our time and resources to help improve the future of these children. Eighteen organizations that serve children receive our direct assistance of volunteer hours. Plus, these same organizations benefit from our fund raising activities with direct distribution of funds. In our 20 years of existence we have provided over 200,000 hours of service and supported the kids in our community in excess of $1,000,000.
We meet every Thursday at 7:00 am to 9:00 am at the Landing Club Plantation Ballroom for breakfast, fellowship and a business meeting. This includes guest speakers of note who informs us on local and national areas of interest such as history, sports, business, schools, children organizations and many more. While we are a service club, it is a great place to meet and build friends who share common interests. Our activities are organized via committees that you can find by clicking on the “Committees Tab” to the left. This provides a snap shot of all our service activities.
